MGSV: Prologue Review

As previously mentioned, I obtained MGSV today.
Sadly, I only played one chapter but here are my thoughts and feelings about the game.
It may not be much but it's a start of a bigger review in the future.

Today, I got MGSV: The Phantom Pain, like many other people all over the world.

It was not until I decided I wanted to see what sort of thing I had install for myself for when I finish Ground Zeroes, which I should have done months ago.

Honestly, at first I found it slow but it picked up quickly and I felt myself instantly sucked into the game. The story, being vague for me, was interesting and though not much was revealed other than what condition Big Boss was in and the fact that most of the world was hoping he died and since he was not, they were out to make sure he was eliminated.

That is what I got from story. the graphics was amazing and I am not sure how to describe how it made me feel but I was enticed. The fire may not have been great and same goes for the blood and gore but I concluded that it didn't matter, it never did at the beginning either but the thing that mattered most was the story.

I seem to have not lost my skill in the style of gaming that MGS has and fell easily back into habit. Stealth when needed, taking out most enemies with head shots with a silenced pistol but none of the mattered to me, I wanted more of the story.

So you could guess I was disgruntled when I got to the end of the chapter and it left me wondering if Boss and Ocelot were in a decent shape after what had happened. Hopefully tomorrow I can discover more and be able to voice here how I felt.

The last point I want to make is simple.
I have been hungering for a game with an engrossing story, a lot of action and the ability to make me want to sit in front of a TV for hours.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is just what I been searching for.
