I also like the progress I am making in the game, such as the fact that I finally got most of the bad endings and I question why and how I can betray some characters and ally with others but I still have to try and do the other actions.
Let's start with Alice, at first, I assumed she is a snob and gave me mixed emotions but as soon as I learnt her backstory, I realised she is actually a loyal and strong, she is also a woman with a mission. I sorta felt bad about the ending associated with her but I felt the process towards her ending made me feel so much better.
Same with Clover but there are still times where she irks me but the progress with Sigma bothers me the most. In one line he is such a perv and other times, he is a gentlemen but he still low on my list of likable characters from the game.
Though Dio, he is still a bothersome character. I have yet to learn about K, Phi, Temmy and Quark.
Now back towards the game and the themes.
So far, with the aspects of Betray and Ally, there are times where I have no problems betraying characters but a few times I have questioned why I need to do it to a few characters and I try and inform myself that it's all for the endings but the guilt doesn't go away, no matter what I do.
Then again, this is why I play these games cause they mess with my emotions and make me question my actions. Would I betray someone if I were in that situation? Maybe. Would you betray someone and risk their lives for you to escape? Who knows.
Though, I should mention that I found one achievement that has amused me to no end and it was a lock breaking one.
Anyway, what has the story taught me since I first begun?
That basically the world is screwed and everyone is probably dead.
